Q: What does my registration fee cover?

A: Your registration fee includes entrance to all Sandy Paws sanctioned events, with the exception of the Friday evening meal (which must be paid while pre-registering). The registration fee helps the organizing committee defray operating costs such as table and meeting room rental fees, program and other printing costs, and administrative costs.

Q: I’m registered, but now am unable to attend. Will I get a refund?

A: Unfortunately no. All registration fees are considered a donation to Greythound Guardians, Inc, the non-profit organization that oversees the Sandy Paws event. However, any Boutique items, which were pre-paid, will be mailed to you after the event.

Q: I am a vendor, do I need to register for the event?

A: No, your vendor fee covers your attendance at all of the event’s activities, with the exception of the Friday evening meal. Additional vendor helpers may be required to register depending on the number (please check with Vendor chairman).

Q: I did not pre-register, but I’d like to still attend, is this possible?

A: Yes, you can register during the event on Friday or Saturday during open registration hours, however, you may not be able to attend the Friday evening dinner if it is sold out. Your registration name tag entitles you to an entrance to all activities (with the exception of the Friday meal). We are also offering a one-day-only registration of $10 per person on Saturday (please see the online registration form or the registration desk at Sandy Paws).

Q: I registered and paid by PayPal, but have not received confirmation, should I contact someone?

A: You should have received an e-mail confirmation within a week of registering. If you have not, please e-mail us at sandy-paws@comcast.net

Q: I registered and paid by personal check, but have not received confirmation, should I contact someone?

Q: I pre-paid for an event T-shirt, when/where do I get it?

A: When you check in at the registration desk, your pre-paid items will be included in your goody bag, including raffle tickets and Sandy Paws clothing items.

Q: How will I know if I have won anything in the raffle?

A: There are several types of raffles available for you to participate and win. The raffle drawings will be posted in the raffle room and you may pick up your winnings anytime after postings have been done. The Chinese raffle results will also be posted. The silent raffle will close on Saturday afternoon and the highest bidder at closing time will be declared the winner. (Please check with the Raffle Room Staff for all raffle questions – located in the Starboard Room ( first floor)  Oceanside Inns and Suites).

Q: Are my dogs welcome everywhere?

A: Dogs are welcome everywhere at the host hotels with the exception of the restaurants. There are several hotels on the island that allow dogs.  Please check with individual restaurants for their pet policy.
