Charitable Grant applications will be accepted until March 15, 2010.

Since 2003, the net proceeds from our annual Sandy Paws event have been distributed to Greyhound adoption groups and other animal welfare organizations. Over $76,000 has been granted to Greythound Guardian charities.

We've donated to many Greyhound adoption groups, the Jacksonville  Humane Society and many other animal welfare organizations.  We thank the Jekyll Island community for supporting Sandy Paws and we proudly  support  the Jekyll Island Sea Turtle Center.

Recipients of our grants must be a non-profit group 501(c)3.  You will find a grant request in our Sandy Paws program and we will require proof of your 501(c)3 status.

We are proud that we have always been able to fulfill each and every grant request submitted to us.   Our Board of Directors review the grant applications and determines the amount distributed each year.  We have raised over $76,000 in the last 6 years and look forward to many more years and a lot more money to give away.  Thank you for your support of Greythound Guardians and Sandy Paws-Greyt Fun in the Sun!
