We're transforming Jekyll Island into Margaritaville, greyhound style! This is your License to chill with old friends and new friends, and of course, GREYHOUNDS! It's time for changes in latitudes and changes in attitudes as you attend fabulous seminars, events and lots of greyt vendors. Come Monday, looking back on the weekend you spent at Sandy Paws, you'll be glad that you did.

We've given away over $76,000 in the 6 years of Sandy Paws. How amazing is that? The money we raise through registration, raffle, auctions and our Rootique is given away to Greyhound Adoption groups and another animal welfare organizations.

Your registration fees are a fabulous source of revenue for this event and we love to give away money!

After our expenses, which we try to keep as low as possible, we donate our proceeds to Greyhound adoption groups and other animal welfare organizations.

Reminder - there is a $5 Daily parking fee for the Island and there is NO GAS on the island. Be sure to fill up before you get on the causeway to Jekyll Island.

Car Decorating contest AND Learn to Draw

Headed to Sandy Paws? Let everyone on the highway know where you are going! Juice up the jalopy, Max out the Minivan and Spruce up the Sedan!

Get into the spirit of Sandy Paws by decorating your vehicle and earn prizes! On Friday, March 5, between the hours of 3:30pm and 4:30pm, the judging committee will scour the parking lots of the Jekyll Oceanfront resort and choose the most creative and fun decorated vehicles.

Winners will be announced Friday night at the Meet and Greet at 7pm in the Pavilion.

You can "theme" it by getting into the Marga-roo-taville spirit or come up with something bigger and better.

Learn to Draw - The Greyhound Edition

Ms. Linda Evans - Design Artist, Art Educator & Greyhound Mom,

will take students, regardless of their talent, through a special step by step process to a finished framed piece of art.

Choose from an array of design motifs. The technique is easy and can be used again to make your own note cards and craft designs. All materials are provided.

This class is limited to the first 18 people that sign up. Please contact Ms. Evans at:
